MacEdgeLight 3.0.1 brings a recovery workaround for quick Display Brightness Boost toggles, alongside two independent ways to use light on your Mac:

• Display Brightness Boost: use available EDR headroom on compatible displays.

What changed in 3.0.1? Turning boost back on quickly queues recovery until 30 seconds after turn-off. You can cancel the queued request by turning boost off again. Available brightness still depends on your display and macOS; the workaround does not guarantee physical brightness.
