Tuesday, MassAbility and the Brain Injury Association of Massachusetts hosted our first-ever Awareness to Action event to bring together providers across the state to boost brain injury care and services.

Attendees heard from keynote speakers and attended learning workshops by leaders and specialists from NASHIA, MassHealth, BIAMA, Spaulding Rehabilitation, ALC Inc, and more. People walked away better understanding the role of brain injury in support programs and how to navigate services with individuals they support.

Thank you to all of our speakers and attendees for coming together for an important event; now let us take awareness to action!

Turning possibility into progress.

Bear’s Boneyard Recovery was proud to table today at the MassAbility Explore Possibility Summit at the Renaissance Framingham Hotel.

We connected with community leaders, advocates, and partners while sharing our Human Development System (HDS)—bringing together professional navigation, trauma-informed weightlifting, and community integration to help people move beyond recovery and toward lasting resilience.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table. Every conversation moves the mission forward.

Beyond recovery. Into reform. Toward human potential.

We are so grateful for our partnership with MAB Community Services and the incredible work they do for individuals we support through opportunities like Cafe Nine!

Today, Café Nine was pleased to welcome representatives from MassAbility for a visit to learn more about our program, participants, and mission.

Partnerships like this help create meaningful opportunities for individuals to gain real-world work experience, develop workplace skills, and build confidence in a supportive environment.

At Café Nine, participants strengthen skills in customer service, food preparation, communication, teamwork, and workplace readiness while contributing to the daily operations of a community café.

We are grateful for Mass Ability's continued partnership and shared commitment to creating pathways to employment and community inclusion.

Thank you for supporting opportunities that empower individuals to learn, grow, and thrive.
