As we look toward the future, we are excited to share a major milestone in our Year in Review: MIC has officially become an independent nonprofit.

This transition empowers us to respond more swiftly to the needs of immigrant families across Massachusetts. We are deeply grateful to the Rian Immigrant Center and the Brazilian Worker Center for their foundational support, and to the Leah Zallman Center for helping us grow through listening and learning.

We are stepping into this new chapter with purpose, ready to strengthen and uplift our community.

BCNC was proud to join the City of Quincy’s Flag Day Celebration this past Saturday. Staff, volunteers, and families paraded alongside fellow residents celebrating community pride and patriotism.

Since expanding services to Quincy in 2014, BCNC has worked to meet the growing needs of the city’s rising Asian and immigrant population. We are grateful to be part of Quincy’s vibrant community and to celebrate alongside our neighbors.

Happy Pride Month from all of us at MIC! 🌈

This June, we celebrate the joy, resilience, and diverse identities of the LGBTQ+ community, including the many LGBTQ+ immigrants who enrich our neighborhoods.

True solidarity means ensuring that everyone—no matter their background—has a place where they can live safely, authentically, and proudly. Let's keep working together to build a welcoming world for all.
