February update.
Rewind to November — on my way to check out Branden’s new car, I’m stopped at a light and unfortunately got lightly tapped from behind. Thankfully no one was hurt and the damage was minimal 😅. Rear bumper was saved, the 10/10 VIN matching is still intact 🙏 The woman was super kind and cooperative, which made the whole situation a lot easier.
Big thanks to (shoutout .s2k & for the recommendation). They repaired the rear bumper and while the car was there, I had them correct that common rear quarter indent where it meets the bumper after the fenders are rolled, resprayed the rear quarter, and refinished the front lip. They allowed me to stop by, check in on the progress, look at paint swatches — the color match is spot on. Couldn’t be happier! While it was there, I had install PPF on the fresh paint to keep it protected.
A few weeks ago I finally brought it home. Took some photos. Parked it for the winter.
Two hours later… Cait calls as I was out grabbing lunch. Water started pooling in the upstairs bathroom — the one above our garage... She opened the garage door to a waterfall from the ceiling onto the car (video doesn’t do it justice as that was after the water main was turned off). Shut the main, sprinted home, grabbed the keys and pulled it out before the sheetrock had a chance to come down.
Had the car back for two hours. That’s it.
Contacted an old friend - thanks to him for for letting me store it safely for now. It’s tucked away while the garage and bathroom get repaired.
Not the February I planned, but she’s safe — and the updates I had in store are just on pause, not cancelled.

Playing around with short video editing - experimenting with different styles, audio, equipment. Kept this one simp though- sometimes enjoying the raw footage from just my phone and the S2000 doing its thing. The UK mod might be too quiet for some, but I enjoy it- quiet when it needs to be, wide open when you want it to be 🎶

When your photographer knows the drill 🔒 this wasn’t even a planned spot for the shoot, but it was too good to pass up. Swerved to hard park the S and already hopped out with his camera to take photos 🔥 the overlook from the Highlands 🌅🌊
