The PTSD Group Treatment Study is a multi-site effort to improve treatment options for veterans suff The groups will be offered at VA Boston and VA Providence.
The PTSD Group Treatment Study offers free group based treatment for veterans suffering from PTSD. Groups are for male veterans of any era who have experienced difficulties following a traumatic event. The study involves:
• An initial assessment of interviews and questionnaires about your thoughts and feelings regarding the trauma,
• 14 group treatment sessions focused on treating symptoms of P

PTSD Research - NATIONAL CENTER for PTSD Research helps improve lives by tackling problems like PTSD. From civilians and Veterans, we are learning more and more about the causes of PTSD and other reactions to trauma. We are trying to develop new and better ways to treat and prevent PTSD.
We are now recruiting for a new set of treatment groups!

Many people who survive a traumatic experience have problems such as nightmares, sleep problems, difficulty controlling anger, intrusive thoughts about the trauma, feelings of guilt, and avoidance of reminders of the trauma. The traumatic event does not need to be related to combat or other military experience. Groups are offered at no cost to veterans, and veterans will be compensated $235 for completing the entire study.
