Today’s✨Member Spotlight is on: Eric Wellers
Eric Wellers joined NAIP as an AmeriCorps member in Sept. 2020. He currently serves as a NAIP AmeriCorps Member at English at Large in Boston, MA. At English at Large, Eric coordinates and leads the 'Career Access Lab' career readiness program. 📚
Originally from Connecticut, Eric graduated from Tufts University with a BA in International Relations. 🗺
According to Eric his best experience so far as a NAIP member has been helping people who reach out for aid. 🩺
"I'm teaching a course and organizing information to make it approachable for my students and I really love when the students engage with the material and express that they now feel empowered to use the material from the lesson in their own way,” he said.
After her service, Eric will begin his first semester of Law school At Boston University. Thank you Eric for your year of service. ⚖

Today’s✨Member Spotlight is on: Apitchaya Ramirez
Apitchaya Ramirez joined NAIP as an AmeriCorps member in Sept. 2020. She currently serves as a NAIP AmeriCorps Member at Somerville Community Corporation in Boston, MA. At SCC, Apitchaya does career coaching, soft skills training, assists in job application and career workshops. 👏
Originally from Thailand, but residing in Malden, MA Apitchaya graduated from University of Massachusetts - Lowel with a degree in Peace and Conflict Studies. 🇹🇭 🌎
According to Apitchaya her best experience so far as a NAIP member has been helping her clients apply for a job and when they are placed into the workforce.
‘I’m an immigrant myself and have been given opportunities to study, work, and live in the U.S. I want it the same for immigrants, refugees, and low income people who I serve to have access to economic stability and a good life here in the U.S,” she said.
After her service, Apitchaya will continue onto her new position at Harvard LASPAU.

Gigi Vujovich joined NAIP as an AmeriCorps member in Sept. 2020. She currently serves as a NAIP AmeriCorps Member at Project Citizenship in Boston, MA. At PC, Gigi facilitates the citizenship process for those who would like to naturalize.
