Spotted this little guy 2 on a walk weekends ago while in central Mass for Fruitlands Craft Fair… seemed appropriate after all the wet weather we had in the northeast the last few days
Hope everyone is safe and drying out!

Bummer, but it’s the right call… and too big of an event to reschedule so we’ll just have to hope for 2027 AND for friendlier weather NEXT WEEKEND for

A couple of sweaters I am finally finishing, now in my new studio in Needham, MA! Grey sweater is cashmere with pieced cashmere cadbury extensions. Purple is merino wool with cashmere & merino pieced cadbury extensions. Front pouch pocket. Fun to be using some of my small scraps- I love those beautiful colorful bits!

Say hey to our next JP Open Studios 2026 Artist Highlight, Elisabeth Delehaunty @elisabethanco ! Elisabeth will be bringing her fantastic fibers and fabrics to 51 Rockview Street, so make sure to give her a visit! "This is my first time participating in JPOS! I'm new to the Boston area, having moved back to my home state of Massachusetts in 2023, and Hyde Park in 2025. I learned my craft mostly thanks to some amazing women: costume designers, women with sewing businesses, my mom. I love color play, hate waste. I started Elisabethan in 1996 using mostly vintage fabrics, but my growing awareness of the mountains of unwanted secondhand clothing made me want to work with this potential resource: it needed to be recycled. Now I mostly use secondhand cotton t-shirts, cashmere & wool sweaters as "yardage" . I design and make all of my patterns & strive for surprising & playful combinations thru piecing, applique, & sometimes dyeing. Tops, skirts, dresses, accessories. Recycling is central to my work. My design inspiration comes from the challenge to find raw materials in the sea of STUFF that surrounds all of us; to make something new that isn't MORE; to take the unwanted and make it into the “must-have.”
