the onset of the covid-19 pandemic has forced us to rethink traditional learning models. the rise of experiential, hands-on learning, peer-to-peer collaboration and distributed virtual classrooms had already given rise to the winds of change, but the pandemic has turned those winds into a storm, with the impact extending far beyond education into the way we learn and collaborate throughout our lives.
learning is a lifelong process and we need to rethink the way we learn, the way we share, the way we create.

is a photographer and video artist based between Bahrain and New York. Her work disassembles the compounded ideologies that have shaped her understanding of womanhood through the roots of her Arab heritage. In doing so, she confronts not only the nuanced narratives of women in the Middle East but also the history of regional representation and visual culture.
Recently, Mashael’s work has been featured in group exhibitions at (2019), Bahrain Fine Arts Festival (2020) and .bh (2019) and publications including & , , , , , .mag and .
A philanthropist, idealist and humanist, has gone on to become a renowned photojournalist who, for the last three decades, has worked all over the world, notably for . His work is featured in the international media including , , , as well as a series of books, exhibitions and documentaries.
An author of 30 books over the course of his career, Reza is a Fellow (2006-2012) and Explorer of the society. He was appointed Chevalier of the National Order of Merit by the President of the French Republic.
