The App Drivers Union is a newly formed union created by and for app drivers.
It is backed by two of the largest and most established unions in the country: 32BJ Service Employees International Union and the Machinists (IAM)

ADU NJ is at the State House today in Trenton. We’re asking legislators to say NO to commercial without a human driver until a full study of workforce, economic, safety, and infrastructure impacts is completed.✊
We’re asking they OPPOSE A3968/S1677 in order to:
🚘protect New Jersey jobs,
💰protect local businesses,
🫂protect public safety,
🛑hit the brakes on driverless cars.

We had our 3rd negotiation session with Uber and Lyft on Tuesday (9/15) in Massachusetts, which focused on Deactivations. Unfair deactivation is a critical issue that impacts all of our lives.
Patrick and other brave ADU drivers shared their stories at the session so company executives could finally see the human lives affected by unfair deactivation everyday.
We are fed up with the broken deactivation system, so we also shared proposals on how it can be fixed once and for all.
