Chester Square Area Neighborhood Association CSANA was founded in the 1980s as the "Chester Square Coordinating Committee."

It was incorporated in 1995 and the name changed to "Chester Square Neighborhood Association." The group was reorganized as we now know it in 1997 in an effort to be more inclusive. Designed in the mid-1800s, Chester Park and Chester Square have been part of the Boston landscape for almost two centuries. For historical images, visit https://goo.gl/TZpCPn.
