In 2022, the Settles family was forever changed by the unimaginable loss of their beloved son and brother, Preston Settles, who passed away at just 15 years old due to a sudden cardiac arrest caused by hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) while playing basketball.

PS3 Casino Night supports the Preston Settles Memorial Fund and helps fund life-saving initiatives to ensure every sporting event in the Commonwealth is equipped with AEDs and trained emergency personnel.

This extraordinary evening featured stilt walkers, a lollipop aerialist, a magician, and an unforgettable atmosphere of joy, remembrance, and impact.

Community is more than a value—it’s the reason behind everything Urban Edge does. I was honored to plan and produce their annual celebration at , recognizing the incredible work they do to build high-quality, affordable housing and vibrant, inclusive neighborhoods across Boston.

The evening featured live music by , interactive experiences, craft cocktails, and heartfelt conversations with affordable housing leaders and public officials who all share a vision for stronger communities.

Here’s some of what Urban Edge has accomplished this year:
– Helped nearly 50 families purchase their first home.
– Supported 33 households avoid foreclosure.
– Graduated 400+ households from their First-Time Homebuyer Class.
– Assisted 600+ individuals with filing their taxes.
– Opened Betty Greene Apartments: 65 brand-new, 100% affordable homes in Jackson Square.

A Night of Futures celebrated ’s 25th Anniversary of empowering Boston’s youth. The evening featured a special live performance by MissionSAFE youth, a vibrant reception with cuisine from , a live auction led by , and sounds by one of Boston’s most influential talents, .

The night’s highlight was a powerful awards presentation honoring Paul Francisco, longtime supporters Florence Koplow and Dave Leathers, and a moving tribute to Sekou Mims.
