Come with us to our bi-weekly Genomics Implementation Collective (GIC) seminar! 🧬

GIC meetings bring together trainees, junior faculty, and senior faculty to share updates, exchange feedback, and discuss ongoing projects in genomics implementation research. We’re grateful to be part of such a collaborative and supportive community!

Interested in joining the discussion? DM us or email [email protected] for more information about joining virtually or in person!

Exciting updates from Annual Clinical Genetics Meeting! Dr. Holm, Dr. Goldenberg, and Dr. Johnson did an incredible job representing BEACONS-NBS in Baltimore last week.

They shared insights from the first 6 months of BEACONS-NBS, including gene list development, integration of ELSI considerations throughout all aspects of the project, and plans for implementation.

We are looking forward to following along as the project progresses!

2026 — the Year of the Fire Horse — is said to symbolise intensity, transformation, and untamed momentum. 🔥🐎 In genomics, we call that evolution. If the Fire Horse is about bold movement, then this is our moment in genomic medicine: turning genetic insight into real-world impact, from newborn screening to precision.

| Our Social Media Manager Pakhi Rajesh Kumar Dixit has quietly gone and done something. 👀 This year, she was selected as one of just 10 Fellows of the RSA — a 270+ year institution known for shaping ideas at the intersection of society, science, culture, and policy. We’re proud, slightly smug, and absolutely cheering her on. 🧬✨ Yes, she’s still running our socials. It’s always something special to see brilliant work get recognised especially when it comes from someone who puts so much heGenomes2People for families and pushing paediatric genetics forward. Really glad we at got to witness this one. 🧬🩵

Celebrating the people at the heart of genomic medicine — the families, the clinicians, the counselors, the researchers, and every curious mind pushing the field forward. 💙
Here’s to science that listens, care that evolves, and discoveries that make a difference for real people, every day.

Today we celebrate the heart, brain, and steady magic of genomic care — our incredible genetic counselors. 💙
You decode complexity, calm nerves, guide families, and somehow make genomics feel a little less… genomicky.
Happy Genetic Counselor Appreciation Day! We’re grateful for everything you do — today and every day. ✨🧬
