RWA’S WEALTH WITH INTENTION ADDRESSES DIVORCE PLANNING FOR WOMEN

Family Office Managing Directors Evelyn Pepe and Jennifer Votano hosted RWA’s latest Wealth With Intention event: “Working With Women Navigating Divorce,” which featured author Oona Metz, LICSW.

Oona, Evelyn and Jennifer discussed how advisors can support women clients through the financial, emotional and logistical complications of divorce. The conversation was followed by a question-and-answer session, and Oona signed copies of her book, “Unhitched: The Essential Divorce Guide for Women” for our guests and employees alike.

Thank you to Oona for lending her expertise and to Jennifer, Evelyn and the rest of our team who helped make the event so warm and welcoming.

Podcast: Managing Concentration Risk—Turning Success into a Sustainable Plan 06/04/2026

IS ONE STOCK DRIVING YOUR FINANCIAL FUTURE?

Many investors don’t plan to take on concentration risk. It happens quietly through long-term success, equity compensation or loyalty to a familiar company.

In this episode of The Human Side of Wealth podcast, Andrew Busa is joined by wealth advisors Chris Hagan and Alden Witman to explore why concentrated positions are so common today and how they can create hidden risks inside an otherwise solid financial plan.

They discuss behavioral challenges, tax considerations and the tools advisors use to help clients reduce concentration over time, without forcing one-size-fits-all solutions or sacrificing long-term goals.

Watch now to learn how turning success into a sustainable plan often starts with managing concentration risk intentionally. https://tinyurl.com/2p6sef

MARKET UPDATE: AI RESURGES, THE FED’S INFLATION CHALLENGE AND AN OIL IMPASSE

In his May 2026 market update, JP Powers explores the dynamics behind the U.S. stock market’s recent strength. He explains how technology, semiconductor and AI-related infrastructure stocks have once again taken a leadership role in markets, benefiting investors with selective exposure to these areas. Capital expenditures in this space have boosted markets, even as consumers have become more cautious due to rising inflation fueled by higher energy prices.

This inflationary pressure poses a challenge to the Federal Reserve—JP notes how we went from expectations for rate cuts at year-end to a scenario now where rate hikes may be on the table. As a result, bond investors are enjoying higher yields, but falling prices.

The dynamic between AI momentum, energy and inflation challenges and higher interest rates creates a complex environment for investors to navigate—we’re here to help.

Watch now for these insights and more. https://tinyurl.com/2566u85a

HONORED TO HELP PRESERVE A LEGACY THAT BRINGS OUR COMMUNITY TOGETHER

Boston’s parks are where we walk, run, gather and recharge—and the Emerald Necklace Conservancy keeps it thriving for everyone. RWA Wealth was once again proud to support the Conservancy’s annual event—formerly Party in the Park—now Sparkle for the Park: An Enchanted Evening. Support for this event helps fund the care of the 1,100-acre park system designed by Frederick Law Olmsted.

We were glad to be there with neighbors and partners from across the community. Nicole LaChapelle, President, RWA Family Office, and Angela Roof, Senior Client Officer, RWA Family Office, represented RWA at the event.

On April 28, Family Wealth Report published an article by RWA Family Office Managing Director Evelyn Pepe on a transitions-based approach to wealth planning. She explores inflection points that investors, particularly women, may face over their lives, and shares her perspective on how advisors should address the emotional and behavioral dimensions of planning, not just the technical aspects of managing wealth.
