I was setting up to shoot shoot some doctor portraits for advertising this morning. This little guy came in with the first doctor. So I asked him to stand in for my lighting test. Just for fun. In 1/125 of a second I knew that I had already done my best shot of the day!

Yep, I’m doing it. Open Studio Tour. Next weekend. October 7, 8, and 9.
This has been a nice prompt to get work organized, make some nice prints and build the frames.

We spent a few days shooting video with Chris who is a tremendous artist, really good guy and great fun to hang with. Then Chris graciously agreed to pose for a couple of 4x5 film portraits. It was a nice way to wrap up the shoot.
I will soon be posting more portraits and some of the really cool video clips of Chris hammering hot metal!
