Supporting Survivors Throughout the Summer — JT Consulting 06/23/2026

☀️ Summer is here, bringing sunshine, vacations, and time with family and friends.

But for some, summer can also mean increased isolation, fewer opportunities to connect with trusted people, and greater vulnerability to unsafe situations.

This season, take a moment to check in on the people you care about. A quick message, a coffee date, or simply asking, "How are you really doing?" can open the door to support and connection.

Survivors don't always ask for help directly. Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is consistently show up, listen, and remind them they matter.

Let's make this summer a season of awareness, compassion, and community. 💜 To learn more, read our blog- https://www.consulting-jt.com/blog/supporting-survivors-throughout-the-summer?rq=summer

What makes you uniquely YOU?

It's a question that seems simple, but many of us struggle to answer it. We often focus on our job titles, credentials, or accomplishments, but the real differentiator is something deeper—your experiences, perspective, values, and the way you show up in the world.

Take a moment to think about it:

✨ What strengths do people consistently come to you for?
✨ What life experiences have shaped how you solve problems?
✨ What values guide your decisions?
✨ What impact do you want to have on others?

Your uniqueness isn't just what you do. It's how you do it and why you do it.

I'd love to hear from you: What makes you uniquely you?

Drop your answer in the comments and let's celebrate the qualities that make each of us stand out.

One of my favorite parts of this work is partnering with organizations that are creating real change in their communities.

Last week, I had the privilege of moderating conversations at the Saheli Conference at Babson College. These discussions explored important and often difficult topics, and I was inspired by the willingness of speakers and attendees to engage with openness, compassion, and courage.

Creating space for meaningful dialogue is something I care deeply about, and I'm grateful to Saheli and Babson College for their commitment to bringing people together to learn, connect, and move important conversations forward.
