Did you know that the Maison Ferrand (Planteray ex Plantation) allow you to do a double maturation of aged rums from the Caribbean and beyond in a floating cellar on the Seine rivers in Paris? It's furthermore a dynamic maturation relying on swinging arms inside the Barge 166 ().

Also, we will house a private little event/party on Saturday June 14th 2025 there to taste our cask after 2 years of maturation (initially Jamaican rum with double ageing) with the possibility to buy a bottle. This project was made possible via Boston Rum Social Club.
We have 15 spots for people who might be interested.
Let us know if you want to book a spot.
The entrance will include 2 cocktails馃嵏 some snack (charcuterie and cheese) and tasting this unique rum.
Only 10 to 15 bottle will be available right now since most of them will fly to Boston.

Hampden Great House 2024:
Stepping into the very heart of Jamaica, I feel the soul of the Hampden Great House resonate within me. The nose is a delectable adventure鈥攖he scent of bananas mingles with rum raisin vanilla ice cream melting under the sun. A gust of exotic tropical fruits expands the senses, and a whiff of pencil shavings brings back evocative memories of writing on a sunlit porch. From the sea, a hint of olive brine drifts in, adding a delightful surprise to this aromatic journey.
Dwelling on this rum, the complexity that Hampden is known for truly begins to shine. It's like walking into a charming patisserie filled with goodies waiting to be devoured. Fluffy meringues and rich cr猫me br没l茅es tease the tongue, each one drawing me deeper into a layered experience. Notes of licorice weave their mischievous touch throughout, and that familiar taste of banana makes a comeback, now accompanied by bready yeast鈥攏ot that awful fake banana essence, but the comforting scent of freshly baked bread.
This is more than just a rum; it's a magnificent Hampden Great House鈥攄efinitely among my favorites. It captures the very core of why so many people have an affinity toward Hampden鈥攁 poetic blend of complexity and perfection. It's a combination that makes every single sip memorable.

Experienced with a riff of a cocktail I loved last weekend at the Buona Notte.
I'm naming this riff the Nectar twilight, a good moment to enjoy the last moment of the summer vibes:
2oz white nectarine infused rum (Old Brigan Black label & Rhum JM Terroir Volcanique)
0.75oz white nectarine syrup
0.75oz lime
Muddled mint
Garnish with slice of nectarine in old fashioned glass.
