✨ Sometimes the design decision you’re unsure about becomes the one you love most.

For this year-round sunroom, we knew we didn't need an area rug. The heated floors already brought warmth and comfort to the space, so instead, we looked for a way to make the flooring itself a design feature.

The answer? A beautiful herringbone pattern.

Our clients weren’t immediately convinced, but once they saw it come together, they loved the result. The pattern adds just enough movement and visual interest while keeping the room feeling light, open, and inviting.

✨ From secondhand to statement piece.

These chairs were reimagined for our Seaport project, where our client needed a cohesive design for an open-concept living and dining space while settling into a temporary home.

The transformation came down to thoughtful details.

• Schumacher fabric wraps the exterior, adding timeless character and visual interest.
• A coordinating Kravet fabric on the seat provides subtle contrast and everyday durability.
• Together, the fabrics create a custom look that ties beautifully into the surrounding furnishings.

Custom upholstery isn't just about giving furniture a new look—it's about creating pieces that feel intentional, personal, and perfectly suited to your home.

These chairs were discovered at a local consignment shop for a fraction of what new custom seating would have cost. They had great bones - they just needed a fresh vision.

For our Seaport project, we knew these chairs could become something truly special. After carefully selecting new fabrics and sending them to the upholsterer, we transformed them into one-of-a-kind pieces designed specifically for the space.

One of the things we love most about interior design is seeing potential where others might not. A well-made piece of furniture can have a second (or third!) life with the right design approach.
