Tree pollen spiking this week, in particular; Juniper, Poplar and Maple

Today will PROBABLY be the last time Boston drops to 32 degrees or lower until the fall...coincidently, the last 32 degree day was also on April 9th last year

Colorado State has issued their first Atlantic Hurricane Season forecast for 2026 and it is for a below average season...this is no surprise given the forecast for a strong El Nino to come on in the coming months.

Chilly temperatures for the Sox and Brewers at Fenway over the next 3 days...no rain threats at least

I hear a lot of folks complaining about the spring thus far...how quickly you forget what a typical spring is like here! This has been the warmest start to April in 16 years...Also, March was 3.1 degrees above average with lower than average precipitation!

We've got a full "pink" Moon coming up tonight! Moonrise is just after 7pm, sadly it will be mainly cloudy

Significant snowfall in April is pretty rare...Boston averages 1.4" but that is skewed a bit high by a couple of big years (remember 1997 April Fools Storm)
