After shooting hundreds of weddings in my career, I can tell you this. Capturing a wedding takes more than snapping perfect aesthetically pleasing photos. It takes the ability to observe, react, and preserve. The ability to blend in, and inconspicuously capture the mood, the vibe and the energy of the day. At least that’s I how do it. ✌️

Scenery from some travels the past few months. Last pic is a sunset in Bluffton, and I’m pretty sure it was my dad saying hi. Forever grateful that he encouraged me to pursue photography beyond a hobby. 🎞️

My first photography job was in hospitals, capturing the raw beauty of mothers and newborns. ✨

Although I wasn’t a mother yet, that experience deeply shaped my appreciation for motherhood. ✨

Now, over 10 years later, I photograph mothers of all ages through a different lens: weddings. These are monumental, legacy-defining moments that rival the day a child is born. ✨

Capturing family history is the heartbeat of my work and something my couples value deeply. Being able to photograph mothers in these precious moments is a true gift. ✨

There’s something so honest about film. The way it holds light, the way it doesn’t rush the moment, the way it lets things be exactly as they are. ✨ Kaitlyn and Alex’s wedding day at was just that. Wind moving through the gardens, the ocean just beyond, light rain (aka good luck). Film didn’t try to keep up, it simply remembered. The in-between, the almost-missed, the feeling of it all.
