Massachusetts’ major climate bill is headed to the State Senate, and the stakes are high.
The House version includes a $1 billion cut to Mass Save, one of the most effective clean energy programs in the country. MCAN and climate advocates across the state are mobilizing to make sure the strongest possible bill reaches the Governor’s desk.
Join us on June 15th at noon for a virtual presentation with Dan Zackin and Mark Dyen of 350 Mass. They’ll break down the latest legislative developments and share how YOU can take action right now.

Together, we are powerful.
This Pride Month, MCAN celebrates LGBTQ+ communities and recognizes that strong, resilient movements are built through solidarity, inclusion, and collective action.
A just climate future depends on listening to diverse voices, protecting one another, and ensuring no community is left behind. When we show up for each other, we create healthier, safer, and more equitable communities for all. 🌎💚

Have you heard of “Decarbonizers”? 🌱 It’s a peer-to-peer program that helps neighbors empower neighbors to make real climate progress, and it works for any community, landlords included.
Although Massachusetts has made strides with solar, EVs, and heat pumps, we have a long way to go. And right now, peer influence is one of the most powerful motivators of change.
On June 1st at noon, MCAN President Fred Davis is hosting a virtual training on how to organize a Decarbonizers program in your community. Training + Q&A for the first hour, then open discussion until 1:30.

Opening up about mental health can plant the seeds for healing, resilience, and hope. You are not alone, and every conversation matters.

Climate leaders in the room and we were right there with them 🌎
The MCAN team was grateful to attend the MassEnergize Community Climate Leaders Conference, and came away energized and inspired by so many meaningful conversations with advocates from across the state.
