So, I’m at it once again!
By a popular request, I’ll be cooking a benefit dinner at Standard Italian restaurant on Tuesday, June 2., at 6:30 pm.
($100 of the dinner cost will be going to the preservation of Venetian architecture and artwork, and is tax deductible.)
The lovely author Crystal King will be there to entertain diners with stories of ancient Venice, and a more modern interpretation of the city, reflected in her new novel.
Please join us for a wonderful evening of everything Venetian!

Thank you to all of the wonderful people who made our sold-out event on Thursday night so special!
Because it was so successful, we are going to do it again; in the same space, with the same menu, wines, and author!
The date is Tuesday March 24, for the “second seating.” So, if you missed out on the fun & festivities the first round, you can join us for a fun reprise!

There are a handful of tickets left for Thursday’s dinner. This could very well be the best one that I’ve ever done, with dishes from Ancient Rome, to the Renaissance, to the contemporary Italian cuisine.
It will be a blast, and, of course, with great wines to match!

My dearest friends, patrons, and culinary compatriots;
I am going to cook for a very special dinner on March 12, at Standard Italian in Boston. This dinner is in support of the new book by esteemed novelist (and good friend) Crystal King. Her wonderful novels are set in various historical eras of Italy, and often feature the foods of those times as part of her brilliant character development and narrative illumination. The dinner will include a copy of her new novel: “The Happiness Collector,” and a discussion of Italian culinary history found there, and in her previous works.
As many of you know, it has been a long while since I have cooked a multi-course chef dinner, and I am greatly excited about this one!
The details and link for reservations is below.
I would love to see you all there!

A sublime signature dish from my cousin chef Gabriella Fittabile in Salogni, a tiny remote village in the Alessandria district of Piemonte, where she quietly cooks some of the best food in all of Italy.

There are still a few seats left in the expanded seating for my mushroom & wine dinner in 2 weeks. The wines I selected are fantastic, and the food will be very “woodsy!”
Come join the best dinner party of the year!
