Boston Food Activists
We are a group of people who obtain free food from various entities to give away for free to the unhoused or people just in need.
Volunteers and donations (material, monetary, and in kind) are always needed.
We serve with love.
And somehow signs that say “Be Kind,” “Stop Asian Hate,” and “Black Lives Matter” bring so much hate down on us.
People yell. People curse. People tell us to leave.
We are not out there to fight with anyone. We are out there because no one should be hungry, cold, or alone.
We’ll keep showing up anyway.
Boston can be hard enough without wondering where your next meal is coming from.
Here are four places in Greater Boston serving meals on Mondays. Save this for yourself, send it to someone who might need it, or keep it in case a day comes when you do.
No shame. No questions. People deserve to eat.
Call ahead when possible—hours can change.
Boston Food Activists use this van to pick up donated food and then move that food, tables, supplies, and everything else needed to help feed people across the city 5 days a week.
It’s getting harder and harder to keep it on the road.
If you want to help keep food moving, Boston Food Activists are raising money for a new van. Every donation, share, and bit of support helps.

Boston doesn’t have a shortage of food. It has a shortage of access.
Five days a week, volunteers with Boston Food Activists show up outside the Boston Public Library – Central Library to hand out free food, water, clothing, hygiene items, and other necessities to anyone who needs them.
No questions. No judgment. Just people taking care of people.
We’re there Tuesday–Friday and Sunday at 4:30 PM. We can always use more volunteers, donations, and people who care. If you want to help, come by—or visit our website and support what we’re building together.

Boston Food Activists will be at No Kings today with snacks and collecting donations to help feed people.
We are the people helping make sure we take care of each other. We set up outside the BPL five days a week feeding anyone who needs it.
If you see us today, stop by. Say hi. Donate if you can. Take a snack if you need one.
If you can’t make it, you can still support us online.
