I'm getting married, spending time in Maine, and my partner has a birthday. Hi, I'm Katie! I'm the owner of Claws Out Yarn Co. and I've been knitting for more than 20 years. I'm a 4th generation artist living in Boston, and I'm so glad my job lets me create using color. In the summer, you can find me knitting outside with an iced coffee (or a beer), at a game, or somewhere in the woods or on the beach. My partner and I have 2 adorable cats who rule our apartment! I have 30+ tattoos and have been getting them for 11 years, and I have plenty of space left for more. I'm figuring out how to be a full-time content creator while still having fun. I'm getting married in 10 days which is so exciting and overwhelming, I can't believe it's almost here. I dye yarn based on things I love, including Boston, national parks, songs, and movies. Another color from my 2023 Out-To-Sea Collection, "04852" is inspired by the amazing blues and greens of Maine's Monhegan Island. As a New England girl, this colorway really feels like summer to me! The ocean, the trees, and the sunshine all come through beautifully.
