Thank you, Maj. Gen. Gary Keefe, for your keynote address and reminder that we must commit ourselves to honor and remember those who gave everything for our country. Especially powerful words from several Gold Star family members that we must remember and carry on the stories of the brave service members who laid down their lives for us. Powerful morning at the topping off ceremony of the FieldHouse+ yesterday on Columbia Point.
Words cannot capture the dignity, grace, strength and leadership of the Richard family in bringing this building into reality.
Grateful to the Boys and Girls Club of Dorchester, the Martin Richard Foundation, Iron Workers Local 7, the Boston Building Trades, the Marr family, and partners for their work and support.

Laced ‘em up for the 25th annual Harpoon Brewery 5-Miler alongside neighbors and thousands of runners. To date, the 5-Miler has raised over $3.1 million to fund research for a cure to ALS through the Angel Fund while supporting individuals and their families diagnosed with this terrible disease. Thanks to volunteers, sponsors, community partners, neighbors in the Flynn Marine Park and public safety agencies at Massport, Boston Police Department, the Massachusetts State Police, for helping with this annual run around South Boston to raise funds for this impactful cause.

Proud to join this year’s presentation of scholarships from the Tim “Doc” Cook Foundation to local youth alongside Gold Star families, veterans, neighbors, and colleagues. Each year, the Foundation hosts events to raise awareness regarding post traumatic stress amongst veterans and educates local youth through the scholarship program.
A special thanks to Joe Cook and his family for their leadership and sharing their story.
