We have a store in Wi******er. Most of you didn’t know that.

Newbury gets all the attention because it’s Newbury, but the Wi******er floor gets its own consignors, its own inventory, and things that never make it into town.

This week: an LV Zippy in Mahina, a blue Coach, the Delightful tote, and a STAUD sequin maxi that somebody is going to be very happy about.

The pink Valentino Rockstud is the exception. That one’s on Newbury, which is exactly what happens when you have four stores.

Labor Day is behind us, which means the closet turns over.

The thing we did not expect this season: western is back, and not in a costume way. Denim with slits at the side, a real cowboy boot, worn with a plain white tee so it reads like an accident.

The rest of what came in for fall:
🧶 Cashmere crew, the basic that earns its place 🧥 Corduroy jacket, easier than it sounds 🌾 Theory Airy Trench for the weeks that can’t decide 🖤 Moncler, thin, no hood, which makes it a fall coat instead of a winter one 👜 Bottega Veneta in Rugiada, east-west, goes with everything

A customer came in this week and told us she was going to the US Open final. We had to dress her before the weekend .

That sent us down a rabbit hole, which later inspired us to look at some more looks we’d wear to the event.

🎾 Navy polo dress, Hermès silk scarf at the collar, vintage Chanel Diana 👖 Agolde barrel jeans and a tweed blazer, because a little glitter reads feminine without trying 🌸 Zimmermann floral, a DeMellier bag, and whatever pump you already own
