📢 An Important Update from Pride in Our Workplace

For years, Pride in Our Workplace has used this platform to build connections, share insights, and advance LGBTQ+ workplace inclusion. However, Meta’s recent actions—including limiting visibility for LGBTQ+ organizations without clear explanation or recourse, as shown in this picture — signal a shift that no longer aligns with our mission. We can assure you that nothing in our posts should be construed as sexual, violent, profane, or hateful!

At the same time, Meta has made policy changes that enable more blatant attacks on the LGBTQ+ community while also deprioritizing DEI efforts internally. In light of these concerning developments, PIOW will no longer be actively using Facebook, Instagram, or X (formerly Twitter), for similar reasons.

Our commitment to fostering inclusive workplaces remains unchanged, and we will continue to share our work through LinkedIn, our website, and direct engagement with our community.

Thank you for your support—we’ll see you in spaces that truly value inclusion! 🌈
