Congratulations are in order! 🎉

Our team recently celebrated the engagement of Marketing Coordinator Lauren Bennett and her fiancé, Morgan, at Tres Gatos in Jamaica Plain. With an October wedding on the horizon, we raised a glass to two wonderful people and the life they're building together.

At Studio G Architects, we design places of purpose for our communities — and that same care extends to our own team. Celebrating each other's milestones, big and small, is part of who we are.

We had the best time at our ice cream social earlier this week! 🍦🍨

With so many delicious flavors and toppings to choose from, everyone was able to create the perfect treat. It was a great way to cool off, connect, and enjoy a little summertime fun together!

ICYMI: In recent blower door tests, 273 Highland exceeded requirements for Phius-certified passive house buildings! All unit compartmentalization test results were over 50% better than the target.

In the preliminary whole building test, the building had already performed 33% better than the target, and the final test will be conducted in the coming weeks.

Along with this accomplishment, David has been promoted to Architect 3, a testament to the talent, dedication, and expertise he brings to every project and client here at Studio G Architects.

Our Shaker Lane School team recently created a building flythrough focused on massing and spatial design. The model is presented in white and greyscale, with select areas highlighted in light blue to indicate future accent colors, potential graphic locations, and wayfinding elements.

The flythrough is designed to help end users visualize how they will move through and experience the space, while keeping the focus on layout and functionality rather than finish selections.

We’re so excited to see the vision for this new school continue to take shape!

ICYMI: Last month, Franklin Cummings Tech was featured in School Construction News' Higher Education issue, and this month, it's taking center stage as the Facility of the Month!

The school recently wrapped up its first semester in the new, purpose-built building, and summer session has begun. Students are taking full advantage of the hands-on learning the new space offers.

Lauren joined Studio G Architects in 2022 and has been an SMPS Boston member ever since — currently serving as Co-Chair of the Communications Committee. In the spotlight, she shares what it's like to wear many hats on a small marketing team, what drew her from journalism to the AEC industry, and why she finds the work here so meaningful.

We had the most wonderful evening at the 2026 SMPS Boston Triple Crown Awards Gala — and we came home with two trophies. 🏆🏆

We're so proud of this work and so grateful for the creative partnership that made it possible. Telling the Studio G Architects story well takes a team — and Clockwork is the best kind of partner.

Yesterday, we celebrated the opening of the Residences at Lawrence Hill in Wellfleet with state and local leaders, Community Development Partnership and Preservation of Affordable Housing.

The ribbon cutting was a wonderful opportunity for community members to tour some of the units and see this important development firsthand, as well as hear from officials and residents about the positive impact it has already begun to make on the community.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this project a reality!

More exciting news about The Residences at Lawrence Hill!

Last week, the project was featured in two different articles by the The Provincetown Independent: one highlighting the thoughtful design lessons and architectural approach behind the development, and another focusing on some of the people who have already begun moving into their new homes and building community there.

It’s inspiring to see this vision come to life through both the design itself and the residents who now call Lawrence Hill home. These stories capture not only the importance of creating beautiful, functional, and affordable housing, but also the lasting impact thoughtful design can have on a community. As the landscaping comes together and more residents move in, we’re excited to see this neighborhood continue to take shape!
