Happy Father's Day! Extending our heartfelt gratitude to the men who nurture, guide, and support our BC High students. We're so grateful for the laughs, lessons, and love you bring to the lives of our boys.

Today, BC High proudly celebrates Juneteenth as a moment to reflect, learn, and stand in solidarity with the ongoing pursuit of justice and equality. This day commemorates the emancipation of the last enslaved African Americans in the United States—a powerful reminder of both our history and the work that remains. Through community gatherings, thoughtful discussions, and opportunities for education and service, we honor the rich legacy of resilience and freedom. Let us continue to walk together in hope, compassion, and unwavering commitment to a more just world.

Two MIAA state championships in one week on the Boulevard! Last week, BC High Lacrosse brought home the second title in program history, while BC High Rugby added its eighth — and its third in a row. Congratulations to all of our athletes and coaches! GO EAGLES! 🦅

🦅 Congratulations and good luck to our New Balance Nationals Outdoor qualifiers competing this Thursday and Friday at the highest level of US high school track and field. Our Eagles continue to line up with the best in the country!

Our Board of Trustees, Alumni Council members, and community representatives gathered to close out the 2025–2026 school year, reflect on its successes, and look ahead to the future. We're grateful for their leadership, their time, and their commitment to BC High!

At the 2025–26 Undergraduate Awards, we honored our students not only for their outstanding grades, but for the humility and compassion they carry with them. Academic excellence here means depth: students who internalize what they learn rather than memorize it, and who bring the same care to the people around them as they do to their work.

Our Arrupe Division celebrated the end of the year with plenty of fun and friendly competition at Arrupe Field Day, a joyful tradition filled with music, drama performances, games, teamwork, and school spirit! 🦅

Every year, students in BC High's Freshman English classes read Homer's "The Odyssey." Each spring, they bring its lines to life in the annual Odyssey Declamations, reciting passages from the epic aloud. After 7 preliminary rounds of competition, the top 7 declaimers from each period advanced to the finals in Bulger Theater. Congratulations to Jack B. '29 (1st place), Jack H. '29 (2nd place), and Chet W. '29 (3rd place) on their performances!
