Specializing in carefully selected scholarly used books. Raven Used Books has shops in Harvard Square and on Newbury Street in Boston.
The Harvard Square shop opened in 2005 and the Boston one in 2010. Both shops stock carefully selected scholarly, literary, and general books. Especially strong categories include art and architecture, music, history, philosophy, classical studies, and more. Each store purchases around 1000 books a week so the stock is always fresh. Books are priced 50% to 85% off the cover prices.

MIT press! Over the past week, the shops have put up about 1,000 books from MIT, Zone, and Semiotexte. Primarily in the fields of philosophy, linguistics, cultural theory, art, and architecture.
Welcome to the "official" Raven used books page. While we tried to set up a page in the past, we had done so poorly and/or incorrectly. Now that it is April, 2011, this will be our first real attempt to pull it together.
