I've been experimenting with this and I think it is working? At the very least, I'm more aware of my productivity levels day to day.
Listing your failures -- depressing and/or cathartic? It reinforces the "learning from your mistakes" mentality and could highlight patterns. Might also prep you for an interview.
Hail to the Fail, My Failure Resume I heard about the failure resume earlier this year in a presentation given by Tina Seelig of Stanford University (she got the idea from a professor at Penn State University).
