↪️ If you’ve ever tried to rub in an excessive amount of product only to be met with a pilling mess, you know that the amount of each product to use is important.

• Skin-care serving sizes can vary from one product to another because of their texture (a single drop of oil can spread over a large area of skin, while a drop of a thick cream would only cover half the forehead)

• Different skincare products have different concentrations of active ingredients so it’s important to be aware of how much product you’re using in order to avoid irritating the skin’s natural barrier

🪧 signs you're using too much product 🙅🏻‍♀️:

• pilling of product

• the product moves around the skin/sits on top of the skin and doesn’t actually sink in

• overdoing a product like moisturizer can make your skin shiny and lead to breakouts. It can also feel heavy on your skin and make it harder to put on your makeup

🄱🄾🅃🅃🄾🄼 🄻🄸🄽🄴: Using too much product can not only be ineffective (no extra benefits) and a waste of product/money 💵 but actually can cause skin irritation, redness, and oily residue, too. Remember that often - less is more 🫶🏽
