Back in 2017, one of my best friends and I took the cape flyer down to Hyannis after we won tickets online. One of the activities that we did while we were there was some plane spotting of air traffic in and out of the Hyannis airport. One of the airplanes that I caught buzzing in and out of there was a Cape Air airplane. Little did I know back then how significant of an impact Cape Air would have on my life. In the present day and roughly three and a half years of service later, my turn to close up this chapter in my aviation career concludes tomorrow, September 20th, 2024. While it'll be my last day flying as KAP129 (the number was picked from my sister's birthday), I am very thankful for all of the memories that I have had flying the mocha skies. Whether it was in Havre Montana, Burlington Iowa, Vieques Puerto Rico, Saranac Lake, New York, or Rockland Maine and everywhere in between. It's been a very memorable chapter in my aviation career. I'm very thankful for all of the mentors, colleagues, and especially friends that I've made along this journey. You all made the good days even better and the bad days suck much less 💙 As I've told and in Boston Tower many times before, I'll say it one last time. KAP 129, over to departure, we'll SSSSSSUUUUUUUUUHHHHHHH 🫡
