These signed title insurance policies represent more than just closing paperwork. They are one of the many ways we help protect our buyer clients, not only on closing day, but long after the transaction is complete.

Once the deed is recorded at the Registry of Deeds and ownership officially transfers, an owner’s title insurance policy helps protect homeowners against covered title issues that may surface down the road, including matters that may not have been discoverable during the title examination process.

Part of our job as closing attorneys is working to identify and resolve title concerns before closing while also ensuring our clients leave the closing table with the protection and peace of mind that title insurance provides moving forward.

Closing out my annual NYC food trip the right way.

An unforgettable evening at Chambers seated at the chef’s counter with a front row view of every detail, every plate, every pour.

The highlight was the wine experience, personally curated and poured at our seats by Master Sommelier Pascaline Lepeltier who is undoubtedly one of the most influential voices in the world of wine and a gracious host and educator as well. Thoughtful, precise, and perfectly in sync with each dish.

Great food is one thing. Experiencing it like this is something else entirely.

Already looking forward to next year.

Back to Boston, recharged and ready.

Still processing last night…

What started as a winning bid at the Jacques Pépin Foundation gala turned into one of the most memorable dining experiences I’ve ever had: Daniel Boulud’s private Park Avenue restaurant crawl across four of his NYC restaurants with car service provided by his personal chauffeur.

From caviar-topped blinis and oysters to a perfectly executed Spanish mackerel crudo, rouget with bouillabaisse, and an incredible duck course…every stop somehow raised the bar even higher. And somehow we still saved room for a full cheese and dessert tasting to close it out. 

The highlight, though, was stepping into the kitchen and spending time with Chef Daniel himself, watching the precision, the calm, and the craft behind it all.

Grateful for experiences like this, and even more for the people you get to share them with.

An incredible evening at the 9th Annual Gala for the Jacques Pépin Foundation

I’ve had the privilege of attending every gala except the very first, and it’s been inspiring to watch the Foundation’s impact grow year after year.

A highlight of the night was being seated at the table of Andrew Zimmern - Chef Andrew Zimmern, who shared stories about his friendship with Jacques Pépin and Claudine Pépin and the extraordinary legacy Jacques continues to have on generations of chefs and home cooks.

As Jacques famously said, “We are all equal in the eyes of the stove.”

Proud to support the Foundation’s mission of expanding access to culinary education and opportunity. A truly special night celebrating a legend and a cause that brings people together through food.
