Meet our incredible Sous Chef, River Johanson!🙌
River has been an essential part of the Deuxave kitchen for a little over two years, bringing talent, humility, and heart to everything he does. His culinary journey began on his family farm in Southern New Hampshire, where raising grass-fed beef, growing fresh produce, and making artisanal cheeses taught him not only about ingredients, but about a deep respect for food itself.👨🍳
That early foundation shaped the chef he is today. River has grown quickly as a young chef, pairing skill with an unwavering commitment to showcasing the true beauty and flavor of every ingredient on the plate. His focus, curiosity, and passion are felt daily throughout the kitchen, where he continues to elevate our standards and inspire the team around him.
When he’s not crafting exceptional dining moments, you’ll find River at concerts, out hiking or fishing, or back on the farm reconnecting with the land that started it all. 🎶🥾🎣🚜🌾
