From Gangnam Style and anime pillow girlfriends, to James Bond’s newest adventure and Jennifer Lum’s global conquest, let’s face it, folks… Asian is in. This year we’re bringing Tech Prom to the exotic Far East – lands of the Geisha and Yakuza, the spiraling skyline of Shanghai and hot casinos of Macau. On January 23rd, the Boston tech community will descend on Red Lantern for sushi, dim sum, scorpion bowls, and a black tie dance party that will make last year look like the Fall dance at Sister Mary Margaret’s School for the Rhythmically Challenged. It’s time to break out your fashion A-game, as last year’s king (Jeremy Weiskotten) and queen (Rebecca Corliss) pass on their crowns to this year’s most festive prom peeps.
