It was a great season with lots of new faces and some great road trips! Looking forward to more great baseball in 2019!

Ottawa Fire finished their season on Thursday Sept 13th @ Trillium vs. Ottawa Knights. Ottawa fire entered the game with a depleted roster from injuries and personnel changes. It was a friendly affair with fire taking the L 8-5.

On Thursday July 25th Saratoga Springs Fire (NY) joined with Ottawa Fire to play a double header @ Umass Boston. vs The Boston Fire Jakes. The first game was a loss 13-9. Afterwards there was a 3 team combination for a massive bench Ottawa/Boston/Saratoga vs. FDNY Bravest. FDNY brought the heat along with the A-team and a full squad. No game story for this one just a few former NCAA and Minor League studs who are now fire brothers. The boys from NYC we not playing around. With 87-90 Mph fastballs it proved to be quick evening. 15-4 Loss for the 3 team squad. The bravest finished off the masterpiece in 9 innings. Everyone who came to play or show support had a great time. A tribute for fallen Boston Firefighter Justin Poitras who suddenly lost his life off duty July 4th, 2018. It was a great day of baseball with a storm that rolled through between games.
