A Fund created as a local vehicle to aid those affected by the earthquake and tsunami in Japan.
On March 11th 2011, a 9.0 magnitude earthquake coupled with a tsunami devastated Northeastern Japan. The Fukushima Daiichi nuclear reactor was also damaged, prompting a large scale evacuation. The compounded events caused massive damage to communities and the region ’s infrastructure and caused thousands of deaths, while fallout from the nuclear reactor has affected the area ’s agricultural produc
