🔐Unlocking New Levels💪🏾

The transition has begun. For the past few months, the focus has been muscle building, but with Summer around the corner, I’m starting my Cut. Currently weighing in at 250lbs with a pure muscle mass of 193lbs, the goal is to ramp up cardio & focus more on endurance training. I expect to lose a bit of muscle during this process, which is normal. So the goal is to hit 225-232lbs with a muscle mass of 183-186lbs. I’m only taking limited supplements. A Whey Protein to help maintain as much muscle mass as possible. A Thermogenic Pre-Workout to help give me extra energy during my caloric deficit & give my metabolism a boost. And last a Super Greens powder for energy & digestion support.
My cutting supplements:
Transparent Labs Grass Fed Whey Isolate
Ghost Burn
BPN Strong Greens

In My Zone Like 3-2

32 years of Healthy Living & Knowledge Collection. This past year was a blessing! I got back into my passion of photography and started . Went on a Disney vacation with my ride or die wife. But the ultimate blessing has been supporting my wife as she prepares to bring Baby Jenko into the world this summer! This next year is going to be HISTORIC!

I Don’t Stress, But My Body Does

As many of my followers know, I’m always researching ways to elevate my performance & physique. Lately I’ve been listening to the Mind Pump podcast while working my desk job and recently learn something that blew my mind. The topic was OVERTRAINING. As they went through many of the symptoms, I realized I’ve been suffering from many of these for the past 2-3 years.
- chronic joint & muscle soreness
- Insomnia symptoms
- Easily irritable
- Always exhausted
Turns out this all started when gyms opened back up during the pandemic. After months of no heavy lifting, I jumped back into things full swing and burned myself out fast. But as someone who would also see it as usual gym fatigue, I would constantly push through it. So my body has been struggling to recover and causing inflammation. So my weight has been increasing and I always thought it was diet related. So I’ve needed to dial back the intensity & volume of a few of my workouts. My body is already feeling a lot better. Excited to see how these adjustment work out for me!

⏮️Rewind to my Origin📍

It’s always crazy to look back at where you started & see how much growth you’ve accomplished. I found my way into the gym later than most. Never lifted in HS & rarely touched the weights in college. I was a 6’2 string bean that was blissfully ignorant of my health. But after an ACL injury, I slowly started to gravitate towards strength training. My motives were simple, get stronger so I wouldn’t get hurt as easily & be healthier so I can do more as I age. My journey has taken me from a “Skinny Fat” college kid to a Muscle Mass Man. My lowest recorded weight since training, 195lbs; My highest, 248lbs. I’ve learned so much & I still have so much more I can learn. I still find joy in pushing my limits and I don’t see that ending any time soon.
