After 10 months of continuous interest rate hikes, the Federal Reserve paused its hawkish strategy. Despite this period of economic uncertainty, fundamentals for the CRE industry are much healthier than during the Global Financial Crisis in 2008, which could encourage increased transaction activity in the latter half of 2023.
