Are you making the most of your Instagram profile 🤔​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
The space at the top of your profile (your name, bio, and URL) is the first thing people see when people come to your page. Making the most of it will not only help your audience know what to expect from your page, but will also help boost your searchability 🔎​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
Make sure your Instagram has the following:​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
• DESCRIPTIVE HANDLE. Your Instagram handle should be short and sweet, and include your business name.​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
• PAGE NAME. The bolded section under your profile picture should include your business name and what you specialize in (ex. content marketing). If you are a content creator, you’ll want to include your niche next to your name!​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
• YOUR BIO. In the bio section of your Instagram profile, you should explain who you are, your product/service, who you help, and where you are located. Don’t forget to ad in a call to action before your link!​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
• URL. Every Instagram profile has the option to add a URL to their bio - take advantage of it! Include either a direct link to your website or a link to your Instagram landing page. ​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
• PINNED POSTS. Pin up to 3 of your most important pieces of content for your audience to reference. These can be posts with FAQs, an intro to your brand, your services, etc.​​​​​​​​

✨ Publish one blog post per week​​​​​​​​
✨ Be consistent on social media​​​​​​​​
✨ Hire my first team member (!!!)​​​​​​​​
✨ Book 2 new clients​​​​​​​​

When was the last time you took an audit of your content? If it’s been a while, here’s your reminder to add it to your to-do list 📝

✨ Look through your Instagram insights for the last 6 months. What types of posts got the most likes, comments, and shares?

✨ What blog content got the most and least traffic over the last year? Brainstorm more content ideas for the categories that performed the best!

✨ Look through the content that didn't perform as well and critique it! Is there not enough information? Was it hard to digest? Is it a topic you're not passionate about? Brainstorm ways to improve this content OR share less of it!

Officially back in the office after taking the last week off to celebrate the holidays and wowowow, it feels SO good! Taking time off from work (especially when you own your own biz!) is so important for your mental health.
