Steve Rondo is a 28 year old alternative-indie pop/rock singer-songwriter from Massachusetts. He released his anthemic debut single Matches in August of 2021. The track was praised by the Rock the Pigeon music blog as "a polished voice that soars over floaty guitar riffs. The track erupts into emotion-driven melodies that are irresistibly catchy." Matches was praised as “stadium-ready Americana” by 92.5 FM The River as a part of the Homegrown Showcase in February 2022. The track was also featured on The Needle / USA - Underground from The Sounds of Spotify
Steve followed up Matches with the deeply reflective second single titled Afternoon Rebellion in October of 2021. The track was featured on Spotify's editorial playlist Fresh Finds Indie. The track attempts to convey the frustrations and anxieties of the uncertainty of the future and growing older while taking a moment to appreciate the present.
Steve is excited to continue to develop his sound with every release alongside his long-time friends and bandmates Keelan Smithers and Richie Aversa, Eric Donovan, and Trevor Knowles. There is nature inspired imagery riddled throughout Steve’s songs as evidence of his adolescence spent growing up in the New England sea, mountains, and forests. Inspirations include Ben Howard, Sam Fender, Dermot Kennedy, The War On Drugs, and The Killers.

Road diary entry #7 from the road on the Wrapped Up in a Feeling tour. We played an intimate gig at Burley Oak Brewing Company in Berlin, MD as our Ocean City stop and we were blown away by the generosity and sincerity of everyone in that building. I may even venture to say this was my favorite show of the whole tour. Huge thank you to the Burley Oak fam for having us and trusting a band they had never seen or heard come through and play for yall. We can’t wait to be back and hopefully get in the water with ya!

An absolute DREAM of a day on day 6 of the Wrapped up in a Feeling tour at Atlantic Park Surf - Virginia Beach last weekend. Thanks so much for having us! Barrels by day and singin songs by night, doesn’t get much better than that!

Wrapped Up in a Feeling Tour Day 5 // this entire tour has been about novelty, and it doesn’t get more novel than surfing sunrise with the wild horses in the Outer Banks. We ended the day playing Cravings Tap Shack in Duck. Doesn’t get much better than this!

Day 4 of the Wrapped up in a Feeling tour brought us to Cape Hatteras for our first real day of swell at an iconic surf spot. After spending the day in the water, we made our way up to Duck for our second show in OBX for the Town of Duck summer concert series. We will be coming back to OBX without a doubt, this place is special!

Day 3 of the Wrapped Up in a Feeling tour in transit form Charleston to Nags Head, OBX! After a bottom out in the camper, a dangling exhaust pipe, and a 7 hour drive, we played a wholesome set in Dowdy Park at sunset. Doesn’t get much better than this!

Day two with an impromptu show at The Bounty Bar & Grill in Folly Beach to close out our Charleston stop on tour. Can’t wait to be back down here somewhere down the road! Now on to OBX! Playing Nags Head Summer Music Series in Dowdy Park tonight from 6:30-8pm.

Highlights from Kinfolk Music Festival this past weekend. Such a pleasure to be a part of the very first year in production! Thanks for having us and hope to see yall again real soon up in New Hampshire
Day 1 of the Wrapped up in a Feeling tour! After 23 hours of driving through the day and night, we played at Chico Feo's Tacos'n'Beer for the George Alan Fox band feature. Thank you for having us and providing some fun little waves Charleston! Can’t wait to come back!
