Anyone else have struggles with their feelings being presented as facts? Did know that fear interrupts the processes in our brains that allow us to regulate emotions.

This impacts our thinking and decision-making in negative ways, leaving us susceptible to intense emotions and impulsive reactions.

The spirit of fear can take on many forms (fear of failure, fear of illness, fear of scarcity, fear of disgrace, fear of poverty) but its intentions are clear, no matter what kind of spirit of fear it may be, it intends to keep you from fulfilling the purpose placed over your life.

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

I’ve spent my time in the wilderness.

It was a season of mental, physical and emotional challenges that encouraged my personal growth. It was and still is a make-or-break kind of season for me!

My wilderness forced me to become a creative problem-solver and increased my self-confidence.
As I look back over my year, there’s no dope reel music, or a cool 20 second recap. My reflection consists of Gods grace and the opportunities to clarify my thoughts, hopes, dreams, desires and space for me to step back, evaluate my life and learn from my experiences.

📏 Choosing to compare yourself to someone else to gain a better sense of self is a flawed method of self evaluation because often times we inaccurately analyze others.

📏Remember the moments when God answered YOUR prayers or bestowed unexpected blessings on YOU!

📏Comparison is the thief of our joy because it causes one not to be content. We are all made in the image of God and He has a plan set apart for each and everyone of us! What you have in your hand is enough for your portion.

“Then, having various gifts according to the grace given to us, let us use them”

It’s not over. God is still working. Behind the scenes, things are happening that you can’t see. Keep thanking Him that it’s on the way.

📝Baths and spa days are cool, but the point of self care is to do things deliberately for your mental, physical, and emotional well-being.

📝Self-care encourages you to maintain a healthy relationship with yourself so that you can transmit the good feelings to others. You cannot give to others what you don't have yourself.
