The US Securities and Exchange Commission has approved the launch of 8 spot Ethereum ETFs.

“After careful review, the Commission finds that the Proposals are consistent with the Exchange Act and rules and regulations thereunder applicable to a national securities exchange,” a document updated to its website states.

Today, the world's largest NFT marketplace, OpenSea, unveiled significant changes to their creator royalty and fee structure.

In a Twitter thread, they announced:

- The 2.5 percent fee that is tacked on to every transaction on OpenSea would be dropped to zero for a limited time.

- They will be moving projects that don’t use on-chain enforcement tools to optional royalties. In other words, buyers are now free to decide whether or not they want to honor a creator’s royalty preferences.

- Marketplaces with similar policies would not be blocked by the platform’s operator filter.

These changes will have a dramatic impact on both collectors and creators who use the platform.

The next step in Yuga Labs’ months-long NFT mint mechanic is finally here.

Last week, eligible players with a Sewer Pass were able to start participating in “The Summoning.” The process required users to burn their Sewer Pass token in order to mint a NFT in the new HV-MTL collection. The 30,000-unit collection consists of mechs that resemble robots.

It has been less that a week, and the collection has already surpassed 10k ETH ($19M) in trading volume.

The companies previously collaborated on Yuga’s 10KTF project, which is a browser game where players dress their avatars in digital collectible clothing.

Today, they announced that Gucci will work with Yuga on future Otherside initiatives. “Existing in a world where physical and digital realms collide, and are shaped by creative storytelling, the first activation in the partnership will give a glimpse of Gucci’s participation in Otherside, Yuga’s gamified, metaRPG universe, beginning this week,” Gucci said in a press release.
