There has to be a better way

The Buckley Transportation Center is one of, I’d not the worst bus terminal in the country. From its dingy, drab interior, to the lack of basic necessities such as bus berths, waiting here is not exactly a pleasant experience. Hopefully with the MVRTA’s rebranding this dilapidated terminal can be improved.

Time is running out

There are many theories that have been circulating amongst the Boston transit community regarding the fate of the Hawker-Siddeley 01200s. Some have said that the hawkers won’t see revenue service after the orange line shutdown, and others have said that they’ll still be running, but the orange line will consist of primarily new trains. Nobody truly knows the fate of the hawkers, but I can guarantee that the days are numbered for these icons of Boston transit history.
