The holidays can be a difficult time for individuals and families in recovery from addiction. For many, the season can feel isolating—but we can make a difference together.
This year, we’re aiming to raise $5,000 to provide meaningful gifts for our clients and their children—helping them create joyful memories as they rebuild their lives.

This past week Hope House celebrated the first graduating class of the HH Post- Incarceration Adjustment Program. This voluntary 10 week pilot program developed and facilitated by our own outpatient clinician Mary. The program focuses on assisting clients who have been incarcerated identify their maladaptive behaviors learned in prison/jail, change them into adaptive behaviors, gain self-awareness of their past and help them in developing their own story and not the one society created for them. We are so incredibly proud of our clients for this achievement! And we wish them nothing but success on their recovery journey!

June and November are popular months for supporting men’s mental health ― but the clients in our program deserve support year-round.
Per the National Institute of Mental Health, in 2021, while 51.7% of women with a mental health condition received support from mental health services, only 40% of men with a mental health condition did.
Not only that, but the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reports that men make up almost 80% of all suicides. Men may also be more likely to engage in substance misuse in place of mental health care.
Show the men in your life some support this month, and all year long.
