A little belated Father’s Day post!!
Every year my dads favorite thing to do for Father’s Day is to work his big pizza truck with his daughters! The last few years I’ve filled in for my big sis and we always have to end with cake and ice cream! I thought what’s more fun than making his cake pizza truck themed!

Bringing back one of my most favorite lemon cake creations for lemony challenge! I spent hours fine tuning those gum paste flowers! And when you cut a slice, lemony deliciousness was found!
This was so much fun to create and I’m excited to the weddings filling the books!

Little fact about me, sunflowers are my absolute favorite flower out there!! They just radiate happiness and sunshine! I’d been wanting to make a sunflower cake for a while, and found the perfect opportunity when a friend’s birthday came up! I was asked to make the birthday girl a cake and when I thought about how to best celebrate and embody her in dessert form, sugary sunflowers was all that could come to mind!
This vanilla sponge cake has layers of fresh fruit purée between the silky butter vanilla buttercream! So scrumptious!!

Been really digging this flower vibe lately and I’ve been inspired by all the blooming buds around the city! This bunch were sent to celebrate a bride to be and tasted as good as they looked! Can’t wait for all the rest of the spring confections to come!!

I’d call this cake a SUCCESS!!
I’m not just bragging, this mousse filled cake is actually called a ‘Success’ and it is oh so scrumptious!!
Layers of chocolate hazelnut mousse are piped between vanilla Joconde sponge! Topped with caramelized and dark chocolate dipped hazelnuts and a caramel nest! Yum yum!!

I want to be hopeful that the not so freezing weather is here to stay but then I remember I live in Boston and March is the month of tricking us into thinking MA winters aren’t so bad...
So I’ll wait!

Every Sunday could use a sprinkle of gold dust and stars in my opinion! And buttercream roses can tackle the scariest of Sundays! Add in that red velvet cake and cream cheese frosting and you may just forget all of your responsibilities starting back up tomorrow! That may be too hopeful but it’s worth a try!!
My day will consist of prepping for the week, errands and a mighty fine face mask before the night is over! Hope everyone can find a moment of calmness or an ounce of self care today!

Just revisiting this TEAL & SILVER BIRTHDAY CAKE!!
This cake was SOO fun to make and I love the request for the bright colors!
This vanilla sponge was layered with dark chocolate ganache and fresh strawberry buttercream! It’s like a chocolate covered strawberry and a cake rolled into one! Sign me up!!
