The best executive support isnโt about completing tasks.
Itโs about ๐ฉ๐ฐ๐ธ you show up.
In this carousel, Iโm sharing the 3 core beliefs that shape how I work as a Fractional EA:
๐ง๐ฟ๐๐๐ (so you can delegate with confidence)
๐๐๐๐ต๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ถ๐ฐ๐ถ๐๐ (so we stay aligned and move fast)
๐๐ผ๐ป๐ณ๐ถ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ถ๐ฎ๐น๐ถ๐๐ (so youโre always protected)
Swipe throughโand then tell me: ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐โ๐ ๐ผ๐ป๐ฒ ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐น๐ถ๐ฒ๐ณ ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐ ๐ด๐๐ถ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ ๐ต๐ผ๐ ๐๐ผ๐ ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐ธ?

The work isnโt the problem. The weight is.
I became a Fractional Executive Assistant because Iโve seen what happens when capable leaders carry too much in their heads.
Throughout my career, first in the corporate world, and now in my own business, Iโve noticed the same pattern:
Too many meetings.
Too many threads across email, Slack, and text.
Too many decisions that shouldnโt require the CEOโs attention.
Hereโs the problem Iโm most passionate about solving:
Leaders with big responsibilities donโt need to push harder. They need structure, clear lanes, and someone they trust to keep the details clean.
Thatโs what I do.
I bring calm order to the chaos through calendar strategy, communication triage, travel and logistics, board preparation, and consistent follow-through. I use sound judgment to keep things moving without adding to the noise.
And the impact is tangible. When the operational load is handled well, clients tell me they:
โข think more clearly
โข make better decisions
โข feel calmer at home, not just at work
โข stop reacting all day
โข get time back for the work only they can do
Thatโs my why: helping leaders feel supported enough to lead well without burning out.
What would having this kind of support change for you? Iโd love to hear. Comment below or send me a message.

โJust because you can doesnโt mean you should. William C. Taylor
This is at the heart of ๐ธ๐ฉ๐บ I do what I do as a Fractional Executive Assistant.
I work with founders and executives who can handle the inbox, scheduling, follow-ups, job postings, interviews, onboarding, and opsโฆ but doing it all quietly steals their time from what only they can do: lead, decide, sell, and build.
๐ ๐ ๐๐ต๐ ๐ถ๐ ๐๐ถ๐บ๐ฝ๐น๐ฒ: take the right things off your plate so you can stay in your zone of genius and move the business forward without needing a full-time hire.
If you had 5โ10 hours back each week, where would you reinvest it?

As a Fractional EA, I see the same pressures come up for senior leaders: too many meetings and communication overload across Slack, email, and text.
It's important to find a healthy balance.
What's your experience?
How do you find balance?

Do you ever feel like you're doing a hundred small thingsโฆ and still ending the day unsure what actually moved forward? You're not alone.
When leaders feel overwhelmed, it's often a mix of not enough time and too many moving parts that causes things to slip through the cracks.
Here's how I help clients reset:
๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ป ๐๐๐บ๐ฝ: We capture everything on their plate in one place.
We identify the 3 outcomes that matter most this week.
I track and drive next steps so nothing stalls or gets missed.
I build templates and systems for anything that repeats (follow-ups, scheduling, travel logistics).
Example: One client came to me feeling constantly behind, as important follow-ups were scattered across email threads, notes, and โIโll do it laterโ reminders. We consolidated everything into a single list, clarified the week's top priorities, and I took over tracking next steps. Within a couple of weeks, they were feeling on top of things, deadlines stopped sneaking up, and they told me it felt like they could finally โbreatheโ again.
The goal is steady momentum without everything living in your head.
๐ช๐ต๐ฎ๐'๐ ๐ต๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐๐ผ๐ ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐ ๐ป๐ผ๐: keeping track of it all, knowing what to prioritize, or finding time to follow through?

When I started building my business, I didn't have all the answers.
My personal motto became:
"You've got this. Now figure it out and get it done."
There wasn't always someone to call. No step-by-step. Just forward motion.
That's why I believe in sharing the real story, not just the wins, but the figuring-it-out moments too.
Because someone else might be in that exact place right now, and your story could be the one that helps them keep going.
What's one "figure it out" moment that shaped you?
Drop it in the comments; your story might be exactly what someone needs to hear today.
I never planned to leave the corporate world to become a Fractional Executive Assistant. But during the pandemic, everything shifted.
After years of supporting CEOs, I found myself at a turning point. While navigating my own transition, I began helping former colleagues behind the scenes as they adjusted to remote work. I saw how overwhelmed many leaders felt and knew I could help.
I didn't have a clear roadmap, but I felt excited about the possibilities. I worked with a business coach and took an online course to build a sustainable path forward.
Along the way, I held onto a quote that guided me:
"๐๐ฐ ๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ฆ ๐ต๐ฉ๐ช๐ฏ๐จ ๐ฆ๐ท๐ฆ๐ณ๐บ ๐ฅ๐ข๐บ ๐ต๐ฉ๐ข๐ต ๐ด๐ค๐ข๐ณ๐ฆ๐ด ๐บ๐ฐ๐ถ."
It reminded me that facing fear builds confidence.
Today, I help business leaders buy back their time.
I lead with calm, clarity, and empathy, drawing on years of experience and a deep love for what I do.
Are you doing what you love? I'd be honored to hear your story... however you'd like to share it.

While I donโt usually jump on the โwhat everyone else is doingโ bandwagon, I was curious to see how ChatGPT would interpret me and my work.
This is what came back.
Here's the ChatGPT Prompt if you want to give it a try: Create a caricature of me and my job based on everything you know about me.

Deep thoughts from my ChatGPT, Alex when technical issues prevented running my Executive Daily Brief this morning. This was the last line...
Takeaway: You canโt fully control todayโs schedule, tech quirks, or market movesโbut you can choose calm, clear next actions, which is where your real leverage as an executive lies.

New name, same me.
Same service, same attention to detail, same calm in the chaos energy. Iโm simply signing my emails with a new last name.
If youโre new here, welcome. Iโm Sandy Goodell, Fractional Executive Assistant and owner of Aqua Virtual Solutions. I support business leaders who donโt need a full-time EA but want reliable support for both daily needs and project-based work.
For more than 25 years, Iโve helped executives stay organized, prepared, and grounded. That includes calendar management, travel coordination, board work, operations, and the behind-the-scenes details that keep everything running smoothly.
Iโm grateful for everyone who has been part of this journey, and Iโm excited for whatโs ahead with a name that reflects this next chapter.
If we havenโt met yet, Iโd love to connect. And if we already work together, itโs still me, just with a new signature.
