At Saturday's ICE OUT Everywhere rally, Snowy Boston stood in solidarity with Minneapolis and countrywide protestors. Everyone bundled up in all the winter gear, there was so much determination, kinship, and historical legacy at Liberty Square.
Still so many walls - but people resolutely building bridges and connecting the dots to their convictions, each other, and the political process.

So happy to be part of 's exhibit, Loom in Essence, opening today at ! Along with tapestries, wearable art, and home decor for sale, the exhibit features a special installation of ori-ori (woven/folded) cranes made by studio members in memory of those lost to covid. This installation is based on the Japanese custom of folding paper origami cranes to wish for peace and healing; with the collective creative energy of our art, we wish for a path towards healing from this virus.

Attending one of the "Every Vote Counts" rallies yesterday, organized by the national Protect the Results coalition - demonstrators were peaceful, determined, and hopeful...
