🌊 Join us for Sensory Cove: Care Under the Surface—an ocean-themed, sensory-friendly evening designed to bring families together to learn, connect, and explore.

Hosted by Community Autism Services – Nashua in partnership with the Hudson Town Library, this free community event offers children a welcoming space to play and create while parents and caregivers can learn more about early childhood development, autism, and the resources available to support their family.

Our Worcester Sensory Summer Kick-Off, hosted in partnership with Thrive Support & Advocacy, was so much more than a day of fun—it was a celebration of community.

Throughout the day, we welcomed current families, families waiting for services, and many new faces who were learning about Community Autism Services for the very first time. Watching conversations unfold, questions get answered, and new connections take shape was just as meaningful as the activities themselves.

From water tables and story time to dancing with Moana, bubble fun, face painting, and ice cream, there was something for everyone to enjoy. But what we'll remember most is seeing children and caregivers laughing, connecting, and simply enjoying time together in a welcoming, sensory-friendly space.

The excitement didn't end with the event. Hearing from community partners that they'd love to see this become an annual tradition was a powerful reminder of the impact days like these can have—not only for the families who attend, but for the organizations working together to support them.

A heartfelt thank you to Thrive Support & Advocacy, our incredible team, volunteers, community partners, and every family who joined us. Thank you for making our Worcester Sensory Summer Kick-Off such a memorable day. We can't wait to continue building these connections together. 💙

One of the best things about hosting an Open House is seeing what happens when families, community partners, and local organizations come together in the same space.
At our recent Haverhill Open House, we welcomed prospective families, current families, and community partners throughout the evening. It was wonderful to see so many conversations taking place and to watch our team share the work they do every day.

We were especially excited to connect with representatives from Haverhill Promise and members of one of Haverhill's oldest churches, both of whom are doing meaningful work to support local families. Those conversations opened the door to future opportunities to connect with even more families in the community, and we're looking forward to continuing those relationships.

We were also honored to welcome the Mayor of Haverhill for a visit and a tour of the center.

Most importantly, families consistently shared how welcoming, knowledgeable, and passionate our team was. Those comments meant a lot because they reflect exactly what we hope families experience when they walk through our doors.

The evening was filled with connection, conversation, and community—and we're grateful to everyone who helped make it possible.

The Fourth of July can bring excitement, celebration, and family traditions—but it can also bring loud noises, crowded spaces, and changes in routine.

As you prepare for the holiday, consider talking through the day's plans ahead of time, bringing comfort items or headphones if needed, and identifying a quiet space where your child can take a break and recharge.

Most importantly, remember that there is no right or wrong way to celebrate. Whether your family enjoys fireworks, a backyard barbecue, or a quieter day at home, the best holiday plans are the ones that work for your child and your family.
