POSITION SUMMARY
The VP of Product Management will serve as product owner of SimbiQ’s disruptive CareConnected platform. The individual will collaborate heavily with the CEO and VP of Engineering to support delivery and monetization of platform capabilities.

Championing the voice of the customer, the VP of Product Management will help shape our product strategy by creating and executing against product roadmaps based on market feedback and evolving industry insight. Understanding and setting product vision, requirements gathering, extensive data exploration, documentation and acceptance testing of new development are key to success in this role.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Define and communicate product vision, objectives, market pressures and constraints through creation and management of product roadmap.
• Ensure that trustworthy data is central to client success, product optimizations and long-term strategy, collaborating regularly with Engineering to ensure successful ex*****on of Go-to-Market plans.
• Plan and facilitate requirement review, sprint planning and release status meetings with various levels of internal and external stakeholders.
o Define, own, and prioritize informed user stories and supporting artifacts.
o Define comprehensive user acceptance criteria and/or testing plans.
o Facilitation of testing and defect resolution process to accept user stories as complete.
• Define and manage product Go-to-Market key success metrics including delivery costs, support costs, product pricing backed by market intelligence, market share and gross margins.
• All other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum 5 years of experience working with healthcare data, preferably for a health plan, consulting firm or a software vendor that offers data solutions to health plans
• Foundational understanding of relational database concepts and dimensional modeling principles.
• Experience and working knowledge of agile software development methodologies
• Proficiency with SQL, JSON, Microsoft Excel/Access (advanced) or other programming language.
• Demonstrated knowledge of standard integration mechanisms such as FHIR, HL7, X12 EDI, REST API
• Deep knowledge of health plan-specific datasets (e.g., claims, eligibility, etc.), reporting/analytic uses (e.g., cost and utilization reporting, disease management, etc.) and terminology (e.g., diagnosis/procedure codes, episode groupers, risk adjustment, etc.)

• Comfort with and confidence in representing SimbiQ with investors, board of directors, prospects, clients, end-users, vendors and partners.
• Excellent team-player attitude, with ability to consistently demonstrate the highest levels of professionalism, integrity, mutual respect, and accountability to others
• Strong analytical and judgment skills, with the ability to make sound decisions and follow through
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent presentation skills
• Must be self-motivated, proactive and able to work well under pressure
• Commitment to comprehensive and current business documentation
